This was a family adventure into the forest on two wheels – self balancing two wheels that is!
Here’s Ruby, Charlie, Susan and Charles taking time out from our Segway trip through Sherwood Pines Forest.
We’d booked an hour’s session of Forest Segway and, after a few minutes training, we were led through forest trails, up and down hills and through narrow winding tracks.
We all survived to tell the tale and were even awarded a certificate to prove it.
We had a great time. There were a few aches in places once we’d finished due to the tense concentration needed to avoid tree roots and muddy puddles along the way.
Oh – did I mention that the heavy rain that had been falling all day stopped to give us a full session in the dry.
