This is a walk from home on a circuitous route towards Trent Lock and back home. It’s around three and a half miles in total.
Passing the Tappers Harker pub and crossing the railway line you turn right down Meadow Lane. Again, under then over the railway lines and immediately turn right down Trent Lane.
The lane follows the railway and eventually there’s a path under the railway and across the meadows. After a short section along the canal path the route goes past Trent Farm and through the Fields Farm estate to home.
