Attenborough Nature Reserve

Attenborough Nature is a couple of miles out of town towards Nottingham. It is the result of creating gravel pits and consists mainly of lakes with paths between.

We sometimes walk from home to here and settle for a coffee in the cafe before coming home, probably on the bus.

As the cafe and facilities are closed at the moment we’ve only walked the full round trip once. Now the car park is open again we parked there and walked along the Trent and back through Attenborough village.

There was a detour for a closed bridge and so we completed around 3.5 miles.
