Gardening
It’s good to have time to appreciate and potter in the garden. Simple tasks today included providing some support for large hyacinth heads and dead-heading the early daffs. Other outdoor activities continued from previous days – painting more of the Arbour and adding Decking Oil to the Deck alongside the pond.

The Book’s arrived!
It’s a big one, 828 pages to be precise! Plenty of reading, firstly I need to understand if what I’ve done so far by trial and error is OK or do I need to start from scratch again to be able to build on it? Watch this space … as they say.

Hive of Activity
We’re enjoying the sunshine – we hope you are. Susan is painting the Gazebo, it’ll be all spruced up for our enforced sitting around in the garden. I am giving the main patio a coat of Decking Oil. It missed out last autumn so now that it’s fully dry it’s a good time to do…

We’ve got a list!
Trying to be positive – we’re making a list. Well, Susan has a list which I’m working to. Better get my list done too. So, first activity today – wash the arbour so that we can put a coat of paint on it. We now have tadpoles from the frog spawn. The sun is coming…
