Sawley Church to Trent Lock

This is a walk from home and back of around 4 miles taking in the countryside from Sawley and along the River Trent.

First walking out of Long Eaton and just past Sawley Church take the footpath signed on the left. This takes you along the new flood barrier bank.

Follow this path under the railway line and take the signed path across the golf course to the River Trent. Follow the Trent to Trent Lock and then across the fields back home.
